"Above Snakes" is an old West phrase meaning "still alive." We've taken it further: shopping with us represents choosing to keep showing up for yourself and staying above whatever life throws at you.

Our collection includes independent makers such as Kardo, Taylor Stitch, and NA NIN fragrances, alongside a rotating selection of other ethically-producing designers.

Is everything at Above Snakes sustainably made?

Yes. Every designer we carry is vetted through a meticulous curation process to ensure completely ethical production practices, from sourcing through manufacturing.

Do you have a physical store?

Yes. Above Snakes is located at 414 Romero St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104, in Old Town Albuquerque. Store hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 11am-5pm, Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 11:30am-4pm, and closed Wednesdays.

Do you ship online orders?

Yes, we currently ship to the United States. Orders are shipped within 48 hours, and shipping confirmation is emailed as soon as the item goes out. We use USPS and UPS for most domestic orders.

What is your return and exchange policy?

Online clothing purchases can be returned for a full refund if postmarked within 14 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and should email hello@shopabovesnakes.com with their order number to start the process. Marked-down items, apothecary items (skincare, personal fragrances), socks, intimates, and all "Pre-Loved" items are final sale and non-returnable. In-store purchases are always final sale.
