Corridor - Moonrock LS

This piece was produced in Madras, India, in a workshop that has dedicated 3 decades to high quality fabrics, crafted in working conditions of the utmost dignity. Melding the new (Japanese sewing machines) with the old (hand embroidery, hand loomed fabrics, natural dying) results in a product both timeless and contemporary.

The workshop partners with a rehabilitation center for women encountering domestic violence, and provides for its artisans an open air workshop, on-site day care, garden, and living wages.
